A Day In Brighton

Yesterday me and my parents drove to Brighton to spend the day there. I've always wanted to go and now I really want to go back!
We started off our day by walking through the lanes as they lead to the beach and pier. We had lunch at GBK (gourmet burger kitchen) which is found in the lanes. We were planning of having a light lunch but after seeing the restaurant we couldn't resist! It's a lovely small rustic place that I instantly fell in love with. As you can see below the food looks delicious and it tastes just as good!
After lunch we continues our walk around the lanes and I bought a couple of things from a really cute vintage shop. My dad bought me the wooden owl but I bought the purple owl myself. I love them both and they make really sweet decorative pieces on my bedroom.
After the lanes we continued on to the beach and pier. We obviously bought some doughnuts on the pier and they didn't disappoint. My dad wanted to go on the Brighton Wheel (similar to the London Eye) so I went with him. It was so much fun but I didn't realise how high it went!
After the Brighton Wheel we took a walk down the beach and found these gorgeous beach huts that I recognised from a couple of Zoe's vlogs! This is where my day took a turn for the worse as a seagull decided to land on my hair and attack me so I didn't stop crying for a few hours! One of my biggest phobia's is birds (peacocks and seagulls especially) so I got really shook up. However I did get some chips after which made me very happy again!
