Some Winter Essentials

For today's post I picked out some of my current winter essentials to share with you.
Bubble Bath Products
My two current favourite bath products are the Christmas Penguin bubble bar from Lush and the Chic & Cheerful bath mallow from Bomb Cosmetics. Baths are essential in the colder months and using cute Christmassy products in them make them even better!
Lip Scrubs
I use the Lush lip scrubs everyday and they protect my lips from any dryness. They also taste amazing! My favourites are the bubble gum and popcorn ones.
Skin Products
I love using the Bee Good Cream Cleanser in the autumn/winter as its really nourishing to my skin. My skin suffers from really bad dryness in the cold so finding good quality skin products at a reasonable price is an essential!
Hot Chocolate
Who doesn't love hot chocolate in the winter? Galaxy hot chocolates are my absolute favourites but any hot chocolate will do. Its really lovely to have in the evenings when you're watching Christmas films or for when your in bed watching youtube videos before bed.
Tartan Scarfs
Again, Who doesn't love tartan scarfs in the winter? They go with pretty much everything and the variety of colours available now make them very easy to chuck on in the cold mornings. I have two at the moment from H&M and Primark, both really affordable.

Rocky Road Recipe | Baking

Todays post is a little different as it's a recipe for Rocky Road! I've wanted to do some baking recipes on my blog for a while now so finally took the plunge and decided to do it. This Rocky Road recipe is so simple and easy which makes it great to do quickly in the afternoon.
300 grams chocolate (cooking milk or dark) broken into pieces
3 tablespoons golden syrup
200 grams Rich Tea biscuits
125 grams soft butter
100 grams mini marshmallows
Melt the butter, chocolate and golden syrup in a saucepan on a low heat. Scoop out about ½ cup of this melted mixture and put to one side.
Put the biscuits into a freezer bag and then bash them with a rolling pin. You are aiming for both crumbs and pieces of biscuits.
Fold the biscuit pieces and crumbs into the melted chocolate mixture in the saucepan, and then add the marshmallows.
Tip into a tray and flatten as best you can with a spatula. Pour the reserved ½ cup of melted chocolate mixture over the marshmallow mixture and smooth the top.
Refrigerate for about 2 hours or overnight.

Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm | Review

Before I start this post properly I just wanted to say that  got a new camera yesterday (Canon 700D) so from now on my pictures in my post will be better quality yaaay!!

I was very kindly sent this Lip Balm by Bee Good the other day along with their cream cleanser (review post here) so I thought I would share my thoughts on it with you.
Firstly the size is perfect as its easy to carry around everyday or for travelling.
I've used this for a few days now (morning and night) and because its so nourishing and moisturising its fixed any dryness around my lips really quickly, making it great for the colder months that are quickly approaching.
The balm itself is really thick and has little bits of honey in it which helps rub away any dry skin. It doesn't leave a greasy residue either when applied and also doesn't taste horrible which to me is a key when it comes to lip products. The applicator is easy to use as you just squeeze it straight on to your lips. and rub it in.
Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm* | £4.75
