Christmas Eyes & Skin Care

As Christmas is only a couple of days away (yaaaay) I thought I would share with you what I'm planning to wear eye makeup wise and how I deal with dry skin in the winter.

Eye shadow Base
Maybelline Colour Tattoo | Cream Beige or Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer to correct any off colouring on my eyelids. I then use my Urban Decay Primer Potion to secure any eye shadow I put on top as I have oily eyelids so it can fall off quite easily.

Eye shadow
I start off by putting 'trick' from my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette all over my eyelids using the brush that comes in the palette. I then apply 'wood winked' by MAC to the outer half of my eyelid and I carefully blend it in with a fluffy blending brush like a MAC 217. In the crease I 'satin taupe' by MAC which is a gorgeous dark brown shimmer. I blend this out using a clean blending brush but I make sure to keep it in the crease. I take a little bit of 'wood winked' under the eye and I blend a little bit of 'satin taupe' in the outer half.

Mascara
I use my Boots Eyelash Curler to lengthen my lashes before I apply many thick layers of Maybelline The Rocket Mascara. this finishes of the eye look perfectly. For a more natural look you don't have to apply that much mascara.

Skincare
I always make sure to take extra care of my skin in the colder months so I use my Be Good Cream Cleanser & Daily Moisturiser everyday. I've done more detailed posts on these products here & here but they are bother excellent products that have helped improve my skin drastically.

Bee Good Honey & Wild Flax Daily Moisturiser | Review

This is the third product I've been sent by Bee Good so when it arrived in the post I had high expectations and it didn't let me down!
I have quite sensitive skin and in the colder months it can become quite dry so I was a bit worried that using a new skin care product would mess up my routine but this product has really impressed me.
The first thing I noticed when using this moisturiser is that it doesn't leave a greasy residue on my skin. It sinks in really quickly leaving your skin really smooth and soft. The scent is very natural and subtle which isn't at all over powering which I thought it would be.
Its very light on my skin but is still very nourishing. I love to use this after I've used the 2-in-1 Cream Cleanser which I  reviewed here.

*This product was sent to me for review however all views are my own.

A Christmassy Evening In Brighton

On Sunday me, my parents and sister travelled to Brighton to explore the Christmas lights and shops and we weren't disappointed! We started out by eating cake and sandwiches in a cute café just outside the Lanes.

Bert's Homestore is my favourite shop in the Lanes. Its filled with pretty little trinkets and ornaments that are actually very reasonably priced. I picked up a couple of little Christmas ornaments and some glass drinking jugs but I could've easily bought the whole shop!
I found this cute cake shop in the Lanes and couldn't resist taking a picture of the cute Christmassy cakes!
Oliver Bonas is also one of my favourite home shops. Their furniture is so unique that its hard not to want it all!

The street Christmas Lights in Brighton are not disappointing in the slightest! There isn't one street that isn't all lit up.
The ice rink near the Brighton Pavilion is lit with fairy lights ad fairy lights only! Its so beautiful to walk around and again, hard not to take a picture of!
We walked back through the lanes at the end of our evening and I saw these lovely ornaments in a shop window. I'm very tempted to go back and purchase one soon!
