Christmas Day Makeup

Merry Christmas everyone!!
For today's post I wanted to share my Christmas Makeup Look.

For my base I started with the Burberry Fresh Glow Luminious Fluid Base in Nude Radiance 01. I just use my hands to apply a small amount of this all over my face. I find that it really helps add a subtle shimmer to my skin and makes a great base for foundation of tinted moisturiser.
I then used my Bourjois CC Cream as my foundation. I used my real techniques buffing brush to apply this as it really helps to blend the product into the skin without looking cakey or heavy.
For Concealer I used my beloved Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in shade Cool Medium 2. I used my Real Techniques setting brush to blend this in as I find its a perfect fit under my eyes.

For Bronzer I used my Benefit Hoola. I used my Zoeva 105 Luxe Highlight brush to apply this. I did a subtle contour along my cheekbones, temple and jaw line.
For Highlighter I used Rimmel Good To Glow Highlighter in Soho Glow on the top of my cheekbones and theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer just subtly over the top. I used my fingers to blend the cream and powder highlighters together so it created a lovely hint of shimmer and glow.

For Eyeshadow I used theBalm Nude 'Tude Eyeshadow Palette. I used the shade 'Seductive' all over the lid and built up a matte crease by using 'Sultry' first along my whole crease, applied and blended with my Sigma E35 brush. I then applied 'Sleek' to the outer corner of my eye and blended it into 'Sultry' with my Sigma E40 brush.Under my eye I applied 'Seductive' with 'Sleek' blended into it.
For Mascara I used Maybelline Rocket Mascara for thick black lashes.

For lips I started by applying Rimmel Exaggerate Lipliner in East End Snob to line my lips. I then used MAC Fast Play lipstick which is a lovely pinky brown nude and its quickly becoming my favourite MAC Lipstick.

Funfetti Cupcake Recipe

Today's post is a little different as its all about baking.
I bake pretty much every weekend as I find it such a good way to unwind, forget about work and start the weekend properly.
Today's recipe is how to make funfetti cupcakes with three tone icing. They are SO easy to make but taste delicious.

For the Cupcakes
125g Caster Sugar
125g Self Raising Flour
2 Large Free Range Eggs
125g Unsalted Butter
1/4 teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda
1 1/2 tablespoons of milk
1/4 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Brightly Coloured Sprinkles

For the Icing
500g Icing Sugar (sifted)
250g Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
Vanilla Extract (however much you like)
A Few Colour Pastes (I used purple, pink and Ivory)
Piping Bag & Nozzle

To Make the Cupcakes
Pre heat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
Cream together the butter and sugar until its smooth and creamy.
Add all the dry ingredients (Flour & Bicarbonate of Soda) and mix until smooth.
Then add your eggs, milk and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly and then mix your sprinkles in.
Line your muffin tray with cupcake cases and one by one put the cake batter into the cases, filling them about halfway.
Put them in the oven for about 20 minutes. To know they're cooked, insert a toothpick into the middle of one and if it comes out clean, they're done.
Leave to cool.

To Make the Icing
Mix the icing sugar and butter together until its creamy and soft. (It takes a while so just give it time!) Add some milk if you think its needed (a little bit at a time) and add the vanilla extract as well. Mix it well until its light and soft.
If you want to make the icing colorful separate the icing into bowls (I had 3 colours so put it in 3 different bowls.) Mix in your colour pastes.
When you cakes are cool enough, put the icing in the piping bag. If you have colour icing, use a flat palette knife to layer the colours on top of each other and then get piping! I used the Wilton 1M tip on these cupcakes.

I will definitely be baking these again soon, they're SO tasty!!

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette | First Impressions

Thanks to feelunique having a 20% off discount the other day I managed to get my hands on the oh so amazing Naked Smoky palette *swoooon*
These pictures really don't do it justice, it's SO pretty!!
I decided to get this palette as I already have the third naked palette and love it so I knew the eye shadows would be good quality which they are. All of them (shimmery and mattes) are buttery and easy to blend.
I've also been loving darker silvers and purples recently in these colder months so the smokey tones of this palette is perfect for me at the moment. You also still get a few classic nude/gold tones as well though so this palette really is for everyone.
The brush that comes with the palette is really good quality. Its a double-ended brush with a long fluffy blending brush on one end and a small, more dense pencil brush on the other. The perfect brush for a quick and easy smokey eye.
If you're like me and are really getting into darker shades on your eyes at the moment I definitely recommend this amazing palette. Every shade is wearable and the amount of quick smoky eye looks you can create definitely makes it worth the money.

Lush Winter Haul | 2015

I made an online Lush order for everything #LushWinter as soon as it was released and thought it was only fair to show you all the amazingness that is the 2015 Winter collection!

I first got a couple of things from the Halloween Collection. I got the Lord Of Misrule bath bomb which I'm so excited to use after loving it last year. It starts of green in your bath but an explosion of pink soon appears. It has a subtle scent of vanilla which is just amazing.
From the Halloween line I also got the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar. This is a lovely citrusy, glittery bubble bar that I can't wait to try.

From the Christmas line I got the Santa's Belly Shower Jelly. I love the Lush Shower Jelly's and this has quickly become a favourite. It smells of apples and lemons which surprisingly really lovely. The next product I got is the The Icing on the Cake Roulade. Roulades are a new product to Lush, mainly only available in the Oxford Street store but this Christmas one is available everywhere. It helps moisturise your skin as it lathers up really well. It's so creamy as well making it great for shaving!
I also got The Magic of Christmas reusable bubble bar. It's a new product for the 2015 winter range and I love it. I love how its presented on a cinnamon stick which really helps keep the christmassy vibe and scent. It's so worth the money as you'll get so many baths full of bubbles out of it.
One of my favourite items I picked up is the Peeping Santa bubble bar. It's just SO cute. It even has chocolate eyes which is amazing! It's also really creamy as it has cocoa butter in so I'm hoping it'll make my skin feel really smooth.
Another bath bomb I got is the Yog Nog bomb. The Yog Nog soap is so popular so I'm glad they made a bath bomb to match the lovely soap. It's full of shea butter so I know it'll keep skin feeling soft. I can't wait to have a gold and glitter filled bath!
Bar Humbug is another bubble bar I picked up. One thing I will say is that it's so tiny for the price! You could probably get a couple of baths out of it but personally I'll probably use it all at once because I love loads of bubbles. However this smells amazing, just like the Bah Humbug sweets!
I just had to pick up a Golden Wonder bath bomb as I LOVED it last year! It's full of colour, glitter and stars. It's just amazing.
Another bubble bar I got is called Holly Golightly and its a brand new product. It's just lovely, it smells of oranges and limes (my favourite scent!) and its so big, you'll be able to get lots of baths out of it.
Another bath bomb I still love from last year is the Luxury Lush Pud bomb. It's full of colours and confetti (what more could you want!!??) Just buy one!
Shoot For The Stars bath bomb is another product I got which I love. It's another citrussy scent which is full of colour and it makes a galaxy in your bath! It's an old favourite from last year and I'm so happy they bought it back.
The last product I got is the Father Christmas bath bomb which just somes up Christmas. It smells just like snow fairy which is just dreamy, Don't be fooled by the pastel pink on the outside, once its in your bath a bright pink is revealed and then a vivid green!

September Favourites 2015

This month I've got four favourites to show you that I've fallen in love with.

The first is the By Terry Ombre Blackstar in 'Misty Rock.' What I love about this eye shadow crayon is the colour. It's a gorgeous taupy-purple that just looks lovely on everyone. The purple is really subtle making it great for everyday wear, especially in the autumn months! The actual product applies so easily, it glides on your lid and stays put all day. You do have a few seconds to quickly blend it in before it dries, but really only a few seconds!!
My next favourite goes hand in hand with my Ombre Blackstar. Its the L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Mono Eyeshadow in 'Cafe St Germain 201' which looks stunning patted over the Ombre Blackstar. The two together create the most perfect rustic purple nude shade on your lids that stays in place all day with the perfect amount of shimmer.
My third favourite is theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer. I've loved this for so long, it creates the most perfect everyday highlight and even an inner corner highlight for your eyes. Its super pigmented and looks really great paired with a subtle bronzer.
My last favourite is the Duo-Fiber Face Brush from Real Techniques. It comes as part of the 'Nic's Picks' set and is perfect for bronzing all over the face. It adds a really subtle bronze which is great for Autumn.

New Zoeva Buys

After using my other Zoeva brushes for some time now I just had to buy more and even a palette!
The two brushes I got to add to my collection are the 235 'Contour Shader' and the 221 'Luxe Soft Crease'.

235 is the perfect angled crease brush, perfect for blending eye shadow into the outer crease of your eyelid. The bristles are so dense and compact that it blends even the darkest of shades with ease. It's also quit thin so its great for blending eye shadow under your eye or along your lash line as well.
221 is very similar to the Zoeva 227 or MAC 217. It's the perfect all round blending brush. The long compact bristles make it perfect to fit in the crease of your eye making it useful when you want to add depth in the outer crease.

The palette I bought is called the 'Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette.'
I really wanted to buy the 'Cocoa Blend' palette but sadly BeautyBay was out of stock *cries* so instead I got this one.
Oh my days, its gorgeous.
Its filled with gold and pink shimmery goodness with the added bonus of matte earthy blues and browns which make lovely transition shades. Every shade is packed with pigmentation, there isn't one colour that I won't use! You can either just sweep any of the shades over your lid for an every day look or build them up to create a lovely intense pink gold smokey eye!
I'm so glad I got this palette and it makes me so much more excited for when I eventually get my hands on the 'cocoa blend' one! My favourite shade though is definitely 'Just A Rose' as it's the loveliest rose gold shade.

I bought these lovely things on which I highly recommend if you're looking at getting some zoeva things as well!

Rimmel Lip Lovin'

Ever since i bought my first lipstick I have been obsessed with buying more. I've heard so many great things about the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks that I picked up a couple and even a Rimmel lipliner to test out with them. I am in LOVE.
I wanted to stay in the nude shades but I picked out a couple of matte finishes to make them different to what I have already.

The first one I got and instantly fell in love with is shade 38 (the pinker one of the two.) Its the perfect matter 'your lips but better' shade. Paired with the 'East End Snob' lip liner i bought as well it creates the perfect everyday nude lip.

I also got the shade 03 which is quite similar to 38 but it has more of a brown undertone to it. It looks lovely with a brown smokey eye and a bronzed face. I've discovered that using the lip liner all over the lips first before applying 03 also gives it a lovely subtle hint of pink underneath.

The main thing I've noticed with these lipsticks is how long lasting they are! They really do stay on all day and I'll definitely be picking up more and more! They're so reasonably priced as well at only £5.49. I also really recommend the lip liner as you can wear it on its own or paired with either of these lipsticks (plus it's a bargain at £3.99!)
P.S Please follow me on Bloglovin' (if you haven't already! Thank you!)

Forever Repurchasing

There will always be certain products that I can't live without. For today's post I thought I would share some of these with you.

When it comes to taking my makeup off I want to make it as quick and as easy as possible and with this Garnier Cleansing Water it certainly helps! I just take a small amount onto a cotton pad and it removes all makeup really quickly. You can also use it to remove eye makeup as its made for sensitive skin and has no perfume.
This concealer does everything. It covers blemishes, redness, dark circles and even highlights if you have shade 1 or 2. I've tried other concealers but I always end up coming back to this one. It's cheap and lasts for ages as well making it even better.
I will always repurchase Maybelline Mascaras. They all hold a curl, lengthen and adds volume to your lashes really well, especially this one. This one especially adds length really well which is the first thing I look for in a mascara! Its on offer for £5.99 in Boots at the moment so definitely go and try it out!
Recently I've been loving using bronzer to add colour to my face, especially on a hot day. I've tried a few but I've always come back to Benefit Hoola. This bronzer is quite pricey but its definitely worth repurchasing because it is just so good. The colour isn't to 'orangey' and you only need the smallest amount making it last a long time.
I always repurchase the smaller bottle of this as its easy to travel with. I love dry shampoo and COLAB is definitely the best. It adds texture and volume as well as 'reviving' your hair for yet another day without leaving any annoying dry white flakes.
On another note... Thank you so much Pipdig for my lovely new blog design! I really do recommend pipdig if you are looking for a new blog template, Phil is so so so helpful!

Spending Way To Much In Lush Oxford Street

I have always loved lush a little too much. I can't walk past a lush shop without going n and buying something. I just love it. So when Lush opened its biggest store in the world on Oxford Street I knew I had to go! I went yesterday for the first time and oh my goodness it's heaven. I could of bought one of absolutely everything but luckily my mum was with me to stop me from ruining my bank balance!
Most of the products I bought are exclusives to the oxford street store but some of them are now available online or even in other stores now.

The first thing I picked up is the Layer Cake Soap.
There were sooo many new soaps available in the store but this one grabbed my attention.
I don't really like strong woody or really sweet scents so the most of the soaps I picked up and put straight back but not this one! Layer Cake soap smells and looks exactly like a fruit pastille lolly which is just amazing. I love fruity/citrusy scents so I knew I had to get this. Its £3.40 for 100g and I picked up a pre wrapped block off just over 100g at £4.90 so its reasonably priced.
I then picked up Refresher Shower Jelly for £3.50 (100g). I love Lush shower jellys so when I saw this bright gold one I put it straight in my basket before I even smelt it. I'm so happy I did buy it though because it smells exactly like fruity lemon.

Next I got Big Bang Bubble Bar which is still an Oxford Street exclusive but its so pretty! I can't wait to use this as I think it'll turn my bath a really bright blue and hopefully it produces loads of bubbles!
I also picked up the Little Dragon Bubble Bar which is still an exclusive to the store. I saw this when I was on my way to the till and I couldn't resist it! You use it like a bubble wand were you swirl it in the bath and it produces bubbles! You use it more than once making it well worth your money!
I also got the Green Bubbleroon which has been 'ravamped' and looks so much brighter now!

I spent most of my money on bath bombs. There were soo many to choose from but the staff were friendly and helpful and they helped me pick the best ones!
I got the Frozen Bath Bomb which is now available online and in other stores. Being based around one of my favorite films I obviously had to get it! It has grapefruit and rose in it and the it smells oh so good. I can already see myself buying more of these!
What really sold me on the Yoga Bomb is that its full of colours inside! I wasn't really sure on the smell of it so a lovely woman in the shop showed me what it looks like in water and I was sold, its soo pretty when the colours run into the water. It's not just orange!
I already knew I had to get the Intergalactic bomb after seeing so many people rave about it, hopefully i won't be disappointed!
I got the Experimenter on a bit of a whim because after seeing so many people talk about it, I was a little disappointed when I smelt it. I still bought it though because it  looks so colourful!
I got the Golden Slumbers bath bomb which is still an exclusive. This was being demoed in store and after seeing the golden glittery water it went straight in my basket!
I also got the Sacred Lotus bath bomb which is so crumbly but smells amazing and I can't wait to use it. The last bath bomb I got is the Guardians Of The Forest bomb. I believe this is still exclusive. I can't wait to use this because it smells so lovely and I can't wait to have a green a bath!

The last two products I got are two bath oils. There were soooo many to choose from but I restricted myself and bought 2!
I got Orange Blossom and Melting Marshmallow Moment. A lovely guy in the shop recommended these two and after saying how relaxing and calming they are, I had to buy them! All the bath oils are £2 each so you can't really can't go wrong!

I also bought myself the exclusive oxford street tote bag to carry all my products in as I was going to be walking around London for the rest of the day.

I really recommend going to Lush in Oxford Street if you are a massive Lush fan like me, its such a good experience  and everyone who works there are so lovely and friendly and are always willing to give you help or advice. I really can't wait to back at christmas time because I bet the shop will look amazing, let alone what new products they might have!

July Favourites 2015

I haven't done a favourites post since January so I thought it waas about time I did another! I've been using these products pretty much every day this month so they are highly recommended.

In July I did a little splurge online and picked myself up a few Zoeva brushes after hearing so many great reviews about them. This highlight one though is definitely my favourite.
I love using it for bronzing my face all over (hence why its so dirty!) as its the perfect size. It's also great for adding a subtle highlight to the top of your cheeks or even a subtle, blended out contour.

I picked this up on a bit of a whim a few weeks ago but I absolutely love it. It's made me want to get all the other shades available now! The colour is perfect for summer as its a lovely bronzy brown that worn on its own blended out looks stunning. I like to wear a primer on my eyes before I apply this as its helps it stay on longer as its a loose pigment.I pack it on with any small flat shader brush so I can really bring out the colour.

I bought this the same time I bought the pigment and like that I have been wearing this everyday since I got it. As it's my first Mac Lipstick I just wanted a simple nude and this is definitely what I wanted. It's the perfect everyday shimmery nude with a slight brown undertone. It's just gorgeous. It's made me want to buy even more MAC Lipsticks now!

After hearing so many rave reviews about this product I've been on the hunt for it forever! I finally found it (It was actually the last one!) so I grabbed it and quickly bought it! I'm in love it, for only £11 the quality is amazing. It's lovely for subtly bronzing your face, the slight shimmer making it lovely for summer.

Benefit Porefessional Primer  | £9.95 (mini size)
I bought this when I was queuing up in boots (those aisles are such enablers!) and just had to have it. A mini size porefessional!? I love this primer so much, its great for when you're outside in hot weather as it stops your makeup from coming off. I don't have oily skin usually so I do only wear primers in hot weather but I'm sure this will be great for everyday use as well!

A Skincare Saviour

I bought this a while ago and instantly fell in love with it. I use it when I'm doing a quick facial wash, not a deep cleanse.
I just splash some warm water over my face and then massage a small amount of this all over. It lathers up really well and the little pink beads are really exfoliating and help fix my dry skin. Then after a couple a minutes I just was it off using a damp muslin cloth just to help clean my skin even more. It leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and clean without drying it out. It has a lovely fresh scent that doesn't linger to much after use. I follow up with a moisturiser just to add even more moisture to my skin.
It also takes makeup off really well so you could use it for that as well to save even more time!
I really recommend this product if you're looking for something that's quick and easy to use when you're doing a simple skincare routine. I have quiet dry skin so its perfect for that type of complexion.

It is currently on offer in boots so go grab it while its cheap!

Finding Motivation

Recently I've found myself just not wanting to blog. I've really struggled with finding motivation to take photos, write posts and even thinking of post ideas. I've been unhappy with the photos I have taken and the content I've been writing. However, I know I don't want to post any content I'm not 100% happy with hence why I've had a long break and only just started posting again. Don't get me wrong, I'm still not loving my photos as the quality is pretty crappy but at least I like the subject of my posts.
Should my posts be all about the picture? Should I put pressure on myself to have lovely photos for every post? Probably not. But I do.
At the end of the day, this is my blog. Its a space for me to write what I want about what I want but for some reason there's this pressure to have perfect content with a matching perfect photo and I don't know why.
I started this blog with the intention of making it a weekend hobby and it still is. When I write a good post or take a decent photo I can't wait to post it and feel happy that I did it but building up to that takes a lot more than I thought it would.
So forgive me if I don't post consistently at the moment or if my photos aren't as good as everyone else, I'm just trying to get to grips with it all still. My head is so full of everything that right now I did just want to sit and type it all out. This blog was meant to be beauty based but maybe it doesn't have to be.

The Essential Heeled Sandal

I've always thought heeled sandals will be perfect in the summer time dressed up or down with dresses, skirts and jeans so after looking online I found this pair on asos and instantly fell in love. The gold detailing is really subtle but it also makes the sandals look more expensive then they actually were! The strap is adjustable which is also really handy.
The block heel and padding makes them really comfortable so you can wear them for a long time without worrying. These ones are also wide fit which is a bonus for me as they fit really well.
I really recommend them as you can also get different colours. I saw that Essie Button has bought the silver pair of these in her new video but I don't think I'm that brave yet! I know I'll get a lot of wear out them this summer and hopefully they'll last well for next year too.

You can buy them on asos here for £35.

My New Everyday Bronzer

So after watching reruns of Tanya Burr's makeup tutorials I realised how much she loved this Bourjois Bronzer so of course I went straight out and bought it.
I'm so glad I did because it is so lovely. I picked up the shade 52 which is the darkest of the two shades available.
The first thing I noticed is that the colour isn't orange at all which is great for a drugstore bronzer. However, I don't tend to use it as a contour (I use my hoola for that!) because it does a subtle shimmer but in terms of giving me an 'all over the face summer glow' this definitely does the job.
I also really love the packaging of this product as its compact and easy to travel with.
I really recommend you pick this up next time you're in boots or superdrug because for £7.99 its definitely worth it!

A Lovely Surprise & New Products To Try

So back in January I won Amelia Liana's twitter giveaway and I was so surprised because I never win anything!! I recieved my lovely prizes today so I thought I would share what I won with you. She also wrote me a lovely little card thanking me for watching her channel and she also said she loves my blog so that was a lovely little touch to the prize.
I won't go into too much detail about the products as I'm planning on doing some review posts about them.

The first thing I received is Rihanna's MAC x Viva Glam lipstick. Its a gorgeous blue toned red that I'm actually really excited to try. I've never really owned a red lipstick before nor have I ever worn one but now I own one I might as well give it ago!
Next is this lovely Clarins Lipgloss in 'Coral Tulip.' This lipgloss is so perfect for spring/summer. Its a gorgeous shimmery coral thats really pigmented. When I opened this the first thing I noticed is how lovely this smelled. It smells so fruity making it even more perfect for the upcoming warmer months.
Also how amazing is the packaging!?
Next is a rather luxury product that I can't wait to try. Its the Burberry Fresh Glow Lumious Fluid Base. You can mix this into a moisturiser or foundation but you can also wear it by itself as a highlight. I'm yet to try it properly but when I do, I'll let you know what I think!
The last thing I received is the Kiels Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I've been wanting to try this for a while now so I was so happy when it was part of the prize. I've heard great things about this product but like the Burberry base I'm yet to try it. When I do, I'll let you know if I like it (I'm sure I will!)

A New Brush Buy

When I first heard of this new addition to the Real Techniques range, I was so excited. I had been looking for the perfect contouring brush for some time now and after purchasing the Sculpting Brush I can safely say I've found it.
The angled bristles make it perfect to fit in the hollows of my cheeks and the thickness makes it easy to blend away any harsh lines. As the bristles are also quite dense you can use powder or cream products as the brush does blend well. What I really like about this brush is that it isn't to big which means that you can apply your bronzer as subtle or intense as you like. You can even use it for bronzing up your whole face or putting it in precise places like the hollows of you cheeks and jawline.
It makes contouring really easy which makes this brush perfect for a contouring newbie like me. I also use this brush to apply some subtle highlighter to my cheekbones sometimes as the shape is perfect for that also.
I really recommend this brush as for £9.99 its great for so many things.

My Top Skincare Picks For Spring

I am loving doing posts about spring at the moment so today I thought I would share with you my top skincare picks for spring.

Firstly I've been loving this Shower Jelly from Lush called 'Sweetie Pie.' In the shower it froths up to create a really moisturising bubbly foam that nourishes the skin really well. Its also great as a shaving cream for you legs weirdly enough as it leaves them really moisturised and not dry.
As I mentioned in my last post, I have been loving Garnier products lately. I've been using the Moisture Match cream for a while now as a face moisturiser and its great for keeping away/healing any blemishes I have. It also locks in moisture which is great for the spring time. To take my make up off I've been using this Micellar Cleansing Water everyday. I know this is a weird skincare essential but its also really good at deep cleaning your skin.
My favourite body lotion at the moment is 'Butter Yourself' from Soap & Glory. Its great for keeping skin soft or for fixing any dryness. I also use this Passion Fruit Body Butter from The Body Shop on days where I don't have much time. It works great for a quick skin treatment and it also smells really fresh making it great for spring.
My last skin care pick is this Cream Cleanser from Bee Good. It's great for when you want to give your face a nice quick pamper. You just apply some to your face with your fingers and then after a couple of minutes you wash it off with warm water and a muslin cloth. It leaves your skin really soft whilst clearing any spots or blemishes
I also love using cotton pads for some of my skincare picks. They're really padded and soft which is much nicer than using a harsh tissue or flannel.

Spring Handbag Essentials

As the warmer weather is approaching the other day I changed the contents of my bag from winter and added some more spring essentials.
First I change my perfume to a more summery scent. I went for this Soap & Glory body mist as it's a really good size to carry around and the scent is really gentle and fresh.
I always make sure my sunglasses are packed in my bag this time of year as they are a summer staple. I got these ones from River Island the other day for £10 and I love them. Thanks to the lovely weather recently I've got a lot of use out of them already! I carry them in a material case I got from Dorothy Perkins a while back just so the are protected when in my bag.
I always carry around some makeup wipes because you'll never know when you'll need them! I've been loving garnier cleansing wipes at the moment and they're currently on offer in boots for 3 for £5.
I carry round some makeup bits with me just in case I need to do any touch ups. Obviously I take with me what I'm wearing that day but at the moment I've been loving this lip pencil from Maybelline. I have the shade 'Nude Perfection' as its a perfect everyday spring shade. I also carry around a lip balm with me to keep my lips hydrated, at the moment I've been loving Maybelline Baby Lips. As these are my spring handbag essentials I make sure to pack my base products as I find they do come off more easily in the warmer weather. I take my Collection concealer and my Bourjois CC Cream which I've been loving recently.
I carry around two brushes with me; my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and my Concealer brush from Eco Tools.

Another Lush Haul

Another trip to Lush means another Lush haul blog post! I bought a couple of my old favourites but also a couple of new products that I really wanted to share with you.

Hoppity Poppity bath bomb is part of the Easter collection but is still available online so if you want one you better be quick! For £2.50 this is a really cheap bath bomb but is still a lovely treat for your skin as it's really moisturising when its in the bath.
Fluffy Egg bath bomb is also another limited edition bath bomb from the easter range but is still available for the moment. It turns your bath a lovely bright pink and makes the water really moisturising. It also just like the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar which is a favourite of mine making this bath bomb even better!
I've heard loads of people rave about the Butterball bath bomb so I had to pick one up. It is quite small compared to some other bath bombs but I've heard it nourishes your skin really well and it smells really calming and relaxing.
Brightside is one of my all time favourite products from lush. You get 4-6 baths out of it making it really worth the money (£4.75). It creates loads of bubbles that smell of citrus fruits which is one of my favourite scents! It also turns the bath water a lovely orange which is perfect for summer.
